Here is a record of our restoration of a 1928 craftsman. We will be the second family to live in the home. Watch our progress when we prevail and our privation and pratfalls as we do not.
I had to move them since the original spot I planted them in was too sunny. I then put them outside the garden fence where Lisa promptly pulled them thinking they were weeds. I was seriously skeptical that anything would come back for the 2012 growing season.
Boy was I wrong! While only three shoots came out of the ground they spread all over the fence:

Kevin is brewing now, and he's just switched to all-grain brewing! We also grew hops this year, although the sunlight on Clark Street isn't quite as plentiful as we'd like. He had one hop "fruit", and used that in a batch he brewed just last night.
